With the approval of the State Council, the Agreement on the Establishment of Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement between the Mainland and Macao (the “Agreement”) has been officially implemented since January 1, 2019. In order to correctly determine the origin of import and export goods under the Agreement and promote economic and trade exchanges between the mainland and Macao, the General Administration of Customs has formulated the “Trade Agreement of the Customs of the People’s Republic of China on the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement between the Mainland and Macao” The Measures for the Administration of the Origin of Import and Export Goods under the Project are hereby promulgated and will be implemented as of January 1, 2019.
